A new sneak peek video released last night for the reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians showed Kanye West slamming his wife Kim Kardashian over her look at the Met Gala back in May.
Kim, 38 had during the gala night grabbed all the headlines
with her sultry dripping look. But beneath all that glitz and glam was a
well-hidden “heightened anxiety.”
In the video, Kanye, 42 was seen telling his wife: “You are
my wife and it affects me when pictures are too sexy,”
“A corset is like a form of underwear. It’s hot. Like it’s hot for who, though?” he asked. The rapper turned designer went on to tell his wife how her famously sexy public persona is negatively impacting his “soul” and “spirit.”
“I just feel like I just went through this transition from being a rapper, looking at all these girls, and looking at my wife like, ‘Oh my girl needs to be just like this girl, showing her body off, showing this, showing that,’ and I didn’t realize that it is affecting my soul and spirit as someone that’s married and in love, and the father of what’s now about to be four kids,” he said.
The couple at the time was expecting their fourth child Psalm, whom they had through a surrogate. But, as the video revealed, it appears Kim was more interested in the fashion event to risk missing the birth of her son.
“So, the night before the Met, you’re gonna come in here and say that you’re not into a corset bust?” Kim asked. “I’m getting really bad anxiety. What are you talking about?”
“I don’t need any more negative energy for you to now say
that you’re not into me in a tight dress.” She replied.
Kim went further to say, “You built me up to be this sexy
person and confident and all this stuff, and just because you’re on a journey
and you’re on a transformation doesn’t mean that I’m in the same spot with
you.”
Interestingly, the KKW beauty mogul had spent nearly a year making sure her Thierry Mugler look for the gala night was perfect. Met Gala 2022 outfits kardashians.
Kanye seeing, he can’t win the argument, said, “All right, cool,” and walked out of the room. Kim was so taken aback by her husband’s outburst that she muttered “[This is] absolutely ridiculous.”
Despite her fabulous look, the reality show star has a more
practical concern – what she’s going to do when she needs to pee.
While two assistants were helping her into the garment, she
made an observation: “If I have to pee, that’s a problem. Honestly, if it’s an
emergency, I think I [will] pee my pants and then have my sister wipe my leg
up.”
Kim also revealed she wasn’t completely comfortable inside the outfit, though she pointed out it doesn’t hurt either, “but it feels like you’re doing a crunch and you can’t get out of it. And then you literally can’t breathe.” At the end of the day, Kanye came around, he commented “Babe this is fire” as he read through the reactions on social media.
