Quentin Tarantino director of the famed “Kill Bill” movie and his wife, singer Daniella Pick are set to welcome their first baby.

In a joint statement released by the couple on Tuesday, said they are expecting their first child soon.

Quentin, 56, and Daniella, 35, have been married since 2018. The “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” director and Daniella met back in 2009 when Tarantino was on a media beat to promote his new movie “Inglourious Basterds.”

The pair got engaged in June 2017 after dating for one year, according to hollywoodreporter.

During their engagement party according to People magazine, the event served as a reunion of some sort for the “Pulp Fiction” cast. A list that included Bruce Willis, Uma Thurman, and Samuel L. Jackson.

The two were wedded in an intimate ceremony in LA in November 2018, a first for both.

Before meeting Daniella, Quentin dated Courtney Hoffman, a costume designer. He explained during an interview with GQ in 2009 why he never married or had children.

“When I’m doing a movie, I’m not doing anything else. It’s all about the movie. I don’t have a wife. I don’t have a kid. Nothing can get in my way,” he said.

Interestingly, he wrapped up the shooting of his latest movie “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” just days before he tied the knot with Daniella Pick. The film that has gone ahead to rack in over $200 million in revenue worldwide to date.

Daniella is a singer and model from Israel. She’s the daughter of another pop singer Tzvika Pick.

She has been dating the director on and off for a couple of years before he finally proposed to her.

Daniella was featured in Quentin’s new movie “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” playing Daphna Ben-Cobo character.

As a model, she is often caught posting professional photographs on her Instagram account with 34,000 followers promoting her projects and modelling appearances.

Quentin has always wanted to have kids. In a recent appearance to the “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” he said:

“I haven’t been married, I haven’t had kids, I just got married, I want to have kids,” he said on the live show.

According to CNN, the appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” is part of the promotion for his new film, “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” which has a star-studded cast including Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie.

“Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” is the ninth movie he has directed, and during the show, he told Kimmel he is considering calling it a quit after directing another one.

“I kind of like the idea of making 10 motion pictures and then, boom, that’s it, that’s done,” he said. “the filmography is locked, and there you go.”

He went further to say, “I can honestly say that my taking stock is different than it would have been three years ago, four years ago or even 10 years ago.”

“And, I’m not saying I’ll just disappear like J.D. Salinger… I just got married. I want to have kids.”

Though, he hinted, he might consider taking up TV roles.
