After being married for four years, the couple had now called it quits on their relationship. Allison Williams has officially divorced her husband Ricky Van Been. After the formalization of their separation, the couple made a joint statement which was given to Page Six. They said: “With mutual love and respect, we have made the decision to separate as a couple. We are grateful for the friendship that we have and will continue to have”, they said.
At the moment, reports have it that Allison and Ricky have not been residing together even if they both have a Chelsea apartment that is worth about $2,000,000. The last time that the couple had a public photograph together was in 2018 when Vanity Fair held its Oscars party.
It was in September 2015 that Allison Williams who is aged 31 and Ricky who is a 38-year-old entrepreneur got married in a ceremony that was filled with so many stars and celebrities. The event took place at Saratoga in Wyoming. The guest list at the event was packed with the likes of Rita Wilson, Katy Perry, Bee Shaffer, Tom Hanks, as well as, John Mayer, Jemima Kirke, Bruce Springsteen, Lee Dunham, and more.
Brian Williams who is currently an anchor for the news at NBC is the father to Allison. He was present and actually walked his daughter who was born to him by his wife, Stoddard Williams.
Allison Williams had actually made it clear to Glamour earlier in 2015 that she really wanted to have a family of her own.
I’ve known I wanted to be a mom ever since I was a baby,” Allison said to Glamour. “Everyone says you can’t plan for it. You’re never ready. I have a lot of questions: How do I get to a place in my career where I can go be a mom for a little while and then come back and be a mom and an actress at the same time?
She went on to engage in a discussion concerning how she felt about being a newlywed in a conversation which she had with Savannah Guthrie back in 2016 when she appeared on the live show called Today. Speaking about the kind of relationship that she had with her man, she said: “It’s good, it feels very much the same,” Allison also added that her “Married life is awesome.”
Although these two individuals have gone their separate ways, it would interest you to know that the couple got hooked when they met each other in 2011 while they both were present at a party. They went on to get engaged after they had dated for about 3 years in February 2015.
