The World’s highest-paid Celebrity has been announced and you might be surprised.

When it comes to celebrities, we are all very aware that they earn very big bucks to do what they do. However, we are much especially intrigued with just how much they earn annually and who tops that list. Well, Forbes has brought out their list for the highest paid celebrity last year and the winner might surprise you a bit. 

So Who Won?

So the highest paid celebrity this year is *drums rolling* is Taylor Swift. This is according to the list which was released by Forbes earlier. The annual Forbes list for Celebrity also shown that closely following was Kylie Jenner and Kim’s husband Kanye West making the top players all part of the Kardashians fold which is quite interesting, to say the least.

Taylor Swift was declared top of the list after she ended the year with a whopping sum of $185 million! Most of the money made came from her wonderful album which was released last year and has been making waves since then. If you can remember, this is not the first time that Taylor Swift has topped the list of highest earners as she also did so in 2016 after releasing her 1989 album and later going on tour.  

The second highest earner on that list was Kylie Jenner who is now popularly known for her exploits in the cosmetic world. She ended the year on $170 million making herself the closes to the record which was set by Taylor Swift. Most of the money which she made this year is said to have come from the lip kits which she sells online and her connection to cosmetics and the company actively involved in them. 

It can be remembered that Kylie Jenner is often referred to as one of the youngest billionaires right now in the world. The sky really does seem to be her limit right now. 

Sports Celebrities make the list

For all the sports lover out there, you would also be glad to know that some sportsmen also made the list. This list saw the very best of the sporting world among the list as the likes of Neymar, Messi and Ronaldo made continuous appearances in the list making them some of the richest sportsmen in the world both last year and generally. 

Kanye West is back

Kanye is also truly back to his game after he stopped earning big for at least four years. He is now back to no. 3 on that list and things are looking up again. He finished this year with about $150 million before tax making it one of this best years. 

So there you have it! As many people take in the ridiculous sum of money which were made last year, this year would no doubt produce so much more joy to these celebrities which would normally translate to a happy ending for their fans and more money in their accounts at the end of the day.
