The Latest on the Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus Divorce

In a year that started with pure excitement for both Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus, after a relationship of turbulence, who would have thought the topic of conversation in August would be their divorce? From pure joy and love to heartbreak, Miley and Liam are no more and we have the latest here today! 

Miley Refutes Cheating Claims

Firstly, Miley has spoken out against rumors that suggested she had cheated on Liam during their relationship. In a post on Twitter, Miley said the following; 

‘I can admit to a lot of things, but I refuse to admit that my marriage ended because of cheating…I’ve said it before and it remains true, I love Liam and always will.’

Shortly after, she said that this was the ‘healthy decision’ and that she is now in a different place to her previous self.

According to sources who were speaking to E! News, Liam was saddened by the images that surfaced of Miley kissing Kaitlynn while away together. Although the family thought there may still be a future for the couple, the images put an end to this, and Liam ‘knew’ that it was over. According to the insider, this was the final straw and an end to a relationship that had seen several splits over their ten years together. 

Miley to Keep Pets 

Of course, those who follow the couple will know all about their pets. Over the years, the pair had acquired a number of different animals and these were all saved by Liam when the California wildfires approached their home. In total, they had seven dogs, three cats, two mini horses, two horses, and two pigs. 

According to some sources, early rumors suggest that Miley will be keeping ALL 16 animals. Under California law, this is certainly an interesting case and experts suggest that Liam would have had a case to keep the pets. In a new law, judges now decide who is better placed to look after pets when couples split. 

However, Liam noted how it was Miley who first gave the animals a home and that Miley should therefore keep them. Rather than going through the potentially long and arduous court process, he isn’t going to put up any sort of a fight.
