Diversity Standards of the BFI
It is important that makers of short films pay more attention and reflect on the Diversity Standards. All entrants are expected to get familiar with these standards and use them to make assessments of their films. They should see this as a necessary part of the procedure. Although meeting the standard in a formal manner is not expected, filmmakers will need to communicate to British Independent Film Awards how their project is in line with the aims of BFI.
