Shazam! actor Zachary Levi answered fans about the endless hypothesis encircling the latest DC co-heads James Gunn and Peter Safran on his Instagram.

Actor Zachary Levi has talked about the latest drama around the newly appointed DC co-heads, James Gunn and Peter Safran, and the hypothesis about the fortune of the DC franchise.

Fans were in a rage with a slew of reports that were made in quick sequence. First, it was the designation of the DC co-heads and reports that there would be foolproof changes made in the franchises as they move with the upcoming projects. Then, it was Henry Cavill who declared who confirmed his retrieval for another film. A week after, he posted on Instagram that he would not be returning as Superman after all. A more youthful actor for the part is being evaluated in the successive film that would focus on Superman’s premature years. This resulted in an online backlash which James Gunn even discoursed on his Twitter a few days back. While the Shazam! star discoursed the ongoing conversation for the fans on his Instagram Live, he also nudged fans not to believe everything that is on the internet.

“I’m not the boss, I have no idea what the heck is eventually going on, but I can tell you without a shade of a doubt that… Listen, I loved Walter Hamada. I adored him as a boss, I love him as a human being, and I wish to work with him wherever he goes. But I couldn’t have hand-chosen two more promising people to be the people that are now enabling to guide where the DC Universe is going… You have no idea the reasonings behind any of the findings that are going on. The amount of speculation and gossip mill and drama and silliness that maintains getting spun around out there on Instagram and Twitter is ridiculous. It is unbelievably laughable… So I would just say be patient and give them some leeway and some time to test and make something extraordinary. And I think something that DC merits to have, and something that [Zack] Snyder attempted to do and it just didn’t eventually materialize guys.” said the actor in a part of his Instagram Live.

The actor also answered about the sequel to Shazam! saying, “At this moment right now, I’m nonetheless that character. I have not had any outgoing discussions with the bosses. We have a film that’s coming out in March,” Levi resumed. “…I have no opinion about what’s going to eventually happen to me. I think I’m in appealing good standing…”

The sequel, Shazam! Fury of the Gods will be released in cinemas on March 17, 2023.
