Robert Kelly, a very popular American singer who is very successful and goes by the name R-Kelly is currently embroiled in a court case where his accusers have told the court about his acts of trafficking underage girls to please his sexual fantasies.
Latest testifiers against the singer went before the Grand Jury.
TMZ reveals that sources with a direct connection to the legal case opened up about a lot of witnesses giving testimonials right before the jury. They all claimed that Kelly gave his team directions to secure passage for them in order to bring them into the state to be used for sexual purposes even as they were not up to the legal age.
The source also reported that testimony is being presented to be heard by the grand jury which might eventually obstruct Justice indictments. An alleged victim of Kelly’s supposed underage sexual acts testified about the team paying some of the witnesses off to keep them from testifying in 2008. You will recall that Robert Kelly was accused of engaging in child pornography but was never found guilty.
Of all the families that were said to be paid off by Robert, one was the alleged 2008 victim’s family. A sex tape was presented as evidence where a girl was involved and was claimed to be the goddaughter of the paid off family. However, the grand jury seemed not to be convinced based on the fact that the girl never testified.
The focus of the jury is centered on allegations that Robert, together with his team, made attempts to influence what the results of the trial in 2008 were by intimidating the witnesses and threatening to inflict physical harm on them. It was also shown in the testimony that a vacation trip was planned for the witnesses back then during the 2008 case to prevent them from testifying as the trial was in full proceedings. It has been asserted by the witnesses that the accused had his team secure travel for the witnesses to ensure that they were absent during the 2008 case.
Illinois prosecutors are currently hot on a case against R-Kelly that is not connected to any of the other probes which are presently going on in New York. It is reported that he has a series of allegations trailing him for more than 20 years with respect to sexual misconducts. Reports also revealed that Kelly had been in a marriage with a singer who was just 15 years old. Claims also have it that he exercised control over women like a cult.
With all of the numerous legal accounts going on against R-Kelly, he looks very likely to spend a lot of time in prison if he is eventually found guilty by the grand jury. Kelly has lots of counts against him so far.
