Rihanna Is Pregnant With Another Child

Back in November 2020, People magazine confirmed that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were officially dating. It has now been over two years since the two began their relationship, and since then, the couple has become parents to a beautiful 9-month-old boy who was born in the May of 2022. Recently, Rihanna performed at the Super Bowl, where Kansas City Chiefs were going up against Philadelphia Eagles in Glendale, Arizona. The singer-songwriter performed a 13-minute set during the game’s halftime, which millions of fans watched. Doubtlessly, Rihanna was a massive highlight of the show, but something about her caught everyone’s eye. 

Is Rihanna Pregnant Again?

Rihanna wore a beautiful outfit with an overall-ish jacket that showed what could only be a baby bump. Many suspected that Rihanna is yet again pregnant with A$AP Rocky’s child, and after the massive performance, her representative confirmed that Rihanna is actually pregnant yet again.

While more information is awaited regarding her pregnancy, we certainly know that she felt that the performance was essential to her as a mother. Rihanna spoke regarding her performance before she went on stage, saying: 

“When you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you could take on the world — you can do anything,” she said. “And the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world, so as scary as that was … there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all,” she said. “It’s important for my son to see that.”

She also hinted at her pregnancy during the performance of some of her greatest hits which included Work, Diamonds, We Found Love, and many others. The most difficult part of the performance, according to her, was accommodating 18 whole years of her work in a timeslot of 13 minutes. Speaking about it, she said:

“The setlist was the biggest challenge. That was the hardest part — deciding how to maximize 13 minutes, but also celebrate. That’s what the show’s going to be — it’s going to be a celebration of my catalog in the best way,” said Rihanna. “I think we did a pretty good job at narrowing it down.”

The singer also talked about how performing was a dubious decision. She had a lot of questions in her head, should she perform when she had just had a child? Is it a healthy decision? These were not questions that could be answered with ease.

“I was like, ‘You sure? I’m three months postpartum. Should I be making major decisions like this right now? I might regret this,’”

But of course, she realized that performing even through all the pregnancy pain was worth it, and she needed her son to see and understand this. Rihanna is one of the greatest for a reason. She has 9 Grammy awards for multiple genres and has worked with a wide range of artists, from Eminem to Coldplay. There is just about nothing that Rihanna hasn’t excelled at. 

The coming child will be both A$AP Rocky’s and Rihanna’s second child. Rihanna has previously been in a relationship with Hassan Jameel, an Arab Billionaire. The two were together for three years. However, it wasn’t quite meant to be with him. She was later pursued by A$AP Rocky for months on end until she finally agreed to see him, and months later, the two confirmed that they were, in fact, a couple. Three years later, the two are all set to welcome their new child into the world. Will their musical brilliance pass on to their kids? Only time will tell.
