The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, are to drop the “HRH” titles immediately. The royal couple is also expected to repay the taxpayers’ money that was used in renovating Frogmore Cottage as announced dramatically just last night.

The taxpayers’ money in question amounts to £2.4million, the price of what many refer to as a “Hard Megxit” deal.

The New Terms with Support from the Queen

According to the terms of the all-important deal that was thrashed out at the royal summit that was held at Sandringham, the pair will now be referred to as Harry, Duke of Sussex and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.

The aristocratic couple will discontinue working as members of the British Royal Family come spring. They will also not perform any official duties on behalf of the female monarch.

This shocking statement and development were announced by the Queen. However, the couple sparked a bit of confusion when they updated their personal website and signed off as “Their Royal Highnesses.”

This announcement by Kensington Palace marks the apparent conclusion of talks about the coming days of the Duke and Duchess after several days of wrangling with some of the senior members of the royal family and aides in order to thrash out a deal.

Couple to Repay Taxpayers Money

Harry and Meghan, according to reliable sources, intend to spend most of their time in the United States, North America to be precise. They are, however, expected to pay a high financial – as well as – emotional cost.

They are also expected to return the £2.4 million that was spent on a lavish renovation of Frogmore Cottage. And to pay up to £360,000 per year as commercial rent to retain their lovely British home.

Prince Charles has been assigned to continue providing private financial support. At the same time, the couple is free to negotiate heavily lucrative commercial deals that could net them hundreds of millions of pounds. The ostracized couple have sworn to uphold the “values of Her Majesty.”

Some unresolved issues have not been discussed, or its conclusion divulged to the public. For instance, one of the problems not resolved yet revolves around whether or not Harry and Meghan should strip off the word “Royal” from their Sussex Royal website.

Additionally, no one knows who will pick up the multi-million-pound bill for maintaining their security details.

The Queen Praises the Duchess of Sussex

The Queen has praised Meghan for becoming a part of the royal family. The Queen regnant who quickly intervened in the crisis that threatened to disrupt the quiet peace of the monarchy permanently.

The Queen thanked the couple for the impressive work they have done and gave her support on the constructive way they have decided to forge ahead in life.

According to a statement from Buckingham Palace: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are eternally grateful to Her Majesty as well as the Royal Family for their ongoing support as they embark on the next phase of their lives.

“As agreed in the new arrangement, the couple understands that they are required to step back from royal duties, and this includes official military appointments.”

Buckingham Palace will review all the new arrangements due to come into effect come spring in twelve months.
