OMG! Kim Kardashian Just Lobbied the Whitehouse To Free A$AP Rocky From the Swedish Jail

Kim Kardashian has been reportedly reached out to the Whitehouse for the President to intervene in rapper A$AP Rocky’s incarceration in a Swedish jail.

Two weeks ago, the news broke of Rock’s ordeal in Swedish, where he is being held on allegation of “gross assault.”

In a video of the alleged assault, some men were seen harassing the rapper and his security team in front of a local restaurant. Rocky claims his actions were merely in self-defense.

And since the news broke, several high profiled celebrities and politicians have thrown their support behind the rapper and urged the authorities to do everything possible to get Rocky back home.

Rapper T.I recently took to social media to post a petition. Though, the reaction is mixed, with some people supporting while others bashed him.

Meanwhile, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian is lobbying the Whitehouse to get involved in Rocky – whose real name is Rakim Mayers – case.

According to a post on ET, Kanye propped his wife Kim who has been contacting the Whitehouse for a couple of months now to bring the case to Jared Kushner, Trump’s Senior Adviser. Kushner then took the matter to the President.

The reality TV star, yesterday July 18th tweeted her gratitude to Mr. Donald Trump, Mike Pompeo Secretary of State, and senior adviser Jared Kushner.

Thank you @realDonaldTrump, @SecPompeo, Jared Kushner & everyone involved with the efforts to Free ASAP Rocky & his two friends,” she wrote. “Your commitment to justice reform is so appreciated.

Just as with T.I effort, some people seemed not to be happy with the “Keeping up with the Kardashians” star wanting to help the rapper.

One person wrote: “Okay, but what about them babies in the concentration camps?”

Another wrote: “Now focus on the kids on the border, thank u.”

On Friday, Trump tweeted, “We hope to get home soon.” Which seem like Kim’s efforts paid off.

However, J.D Durking, the Cheddar’s D.C. bureau chief tweet showed it was likely the First Lady that brought Rocky’s ordeal to the attention of Mr. President.

In his tweet, he wrote: “POTUS says he is trying to help rapper A$AP Rocky after an apparent arrest in Sweden (this ordeal is news to your pooler, so apology for not having more background). POTUS says his African-American friends called him to help, and others should support his attempts to help, “We are one,” POTUS says,

POTUS then says that FLOTUS was the one who brought the issue to his attention. “We hope to get him home soon.”

Mr. Trump himself then later commented on the case:

“Just spoke to @KanyeWest about his friend A$AP Rocky’s incarceration. I will be calling the very talented Prime Minister of Sweden to see what we can do about helping A$ASP Rocky. So many people would like to see this quickly resolved!”

But, as People reports, the Swedish authorities seemed to have other ideas. The Stockholm District Court on Friday granted more time to the prosecutors to investigate the allegation; this move would see the rapper spend at least six more days in detention without charge.
