In recent years, everything has been going well for Kevin Hart with regards to his career. Whether on the stage as a comedian or performing alongside other stars like Dwayne Johnson in the Jumanji series, he has only gone from strength to strength. In his personal life? Well, this is where things get tricky.

For those who are fans of the actor/comedian, or perhaps just want to know what life is like for the star, now is your chance. Earlier this week, the trailer for Don’t F**k This Up was revealed. Available on Netflix on December 27th, this six-part series will follow the fallout after the public cheating back in 2017.

For those who missed the story at the time, Kevin Hart was caught cheating on Eniko Parrish while on a trip to Las Vegas. After a video was released with Hart clearly engaging with Montia Sabbag, the latter openly refuted claims that she was the one behind the extortion on Hart. Back in September of this year, however, she changed her story and took the first steps towards suing the actor for $60 million. As part of the claim, Sabbag has suggested that the rendezvous was organized in advance between Hart and friend JT Jackson; she claims they set her up and then hid a camera in the room.

Over two years later, fans will now get an insight into Hart’s life. In a clip from the trailer, Parrish said ‘You publicly humiliated me. I just kept saying ‘How the f**k did you let that happen?’.

Personal Life Exposed

As well as the cheating drama, the docuseries will also take a look at the homophobic claims that caused Hart to step away from his duties presenting the Academy Awards earlier this year. After homophobic tweets resurfaced towards the end of 2018, there was much debate as to whether or not Hart would retain his role as the host of the Oscars. Eventually, the show went ahead but without Hart at the helm; instead, there was no official host listed.

As for Hart, he actually refused to apologize at first and stated that his apology had been in the years since where nothing similar happened again. He noted that he had already apologized, and ‘didn’t understand why that wasn’t good enough.’ According to the public apology that came months later, he had spoken with friends in the LGBT+ community and recognized the need for some to hear it again from the actor.

December 27 Release

As well as footage from the archives of Hart’s childhood, the in-depth docuseries will also contain interviews with friends and family members. In addition to the hectic couple of years since 2017, Hart was also involved in a car crash earlier this year. Therefore, we’re sure the series on Netflix will be well worth the watch once Christmas is over and you need to fill the gap before New Year!
