Over the years,
we’ve seen plenty of celebrities go into different business ventures. Now, it
seems Michael B Jordan has taken an interest in fashion and it has seen the
launch of his debut unisex collection. After teaming up with Coach Menswear, he
has listed Naruto, the popular
anime series,
as an inspiration as the capsule collection makes its way into the industry.
Additionally,
Jordan noted how he wanted to bring ‘fresh perspectives and unique voices’ to
the forefront. Did he enjoy the challenge of entering the world of fashion?
Yes. In fact, he said it was ‘rewarding beyond my expectations’. As well as launching
the line, Jordan has become the first global face of Coach Menswear.
The
Coach x Michael B Jordan Collection
Launched on
Tuesday, the range contains all sorts of unisex clothing including hoodies,
t-shirts, footwear, jackets, and even bags. Across the line, there are plenty
of innovative styles including Naruto imagery and removable sleeves.
Despite the fresh feel to the whole collection, experts have noted the somewhat
familiarity and even nostalgic feel to the clothing.
Depending on
the item in question, prices range from just under $100 all the way up to
$2,500. Of course, this isn’t the first time Jordan has shown an interest in
fashion and his many incredible red-carpet appearances show that he has a keen
eye for fashion. Let’s not forget, this is a movie star who showed up to the
2019 SAG Awards with a harness by Louis Vuitton.
With the
release of the collection, Jordan noted how he was appreciative for the
opportunity and thankful to Stuart Vevers (Creative Director) for the expertise
to produce a collection to which he was proud to lend his name.

Other
Celebrities with Fashion Collections
At this stage, Michael
B Jordan isn’t the first celebrity to dip their toe into the fashion waters and
we’re sure he won’t be the last either. Among the most successful stars to
enter fashion we find the likes of Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. Back in 2006,
they launched The Row and didn’t actually give an
interview about the enterprise for nearly three years; rather than using their
name to boost the business, they wanted their company to earn success on its
own merit. Now, they bring shows to the New York Fashion Week and the brand is
thought to bring in $50 million per year in revenue.
Elsewhere,
we’ve seen Victoria Beckham set the fashion industry alight alongside people
like Stella McCartney, Kylie Jenner, Alexa Chung, Rihanna, and more. For
Victoria in particular, her brand is in constant competition with her husband’s
and the pair are
worth nearly $1 billion together. Despite David retiring from soccer and Victoria from
singing, they continue to work hard on their many ventures.
