Lisa Marie Presley was the beloved kid of Elvis Persley. She was a force of nature herself, a singer-songwriter and brilliant performer. Her mother was Priscilla Presley, who was a great actress herself. With so much talent in one bloodline, Lisa Marie Presley was bound to be successful. But things got in her way, as they often do.

Lisa Presley had married four different partners over the course of her life. These included actor Nicholas Cage, musician Danny Keough, Michael Jackson, and guitarist  Michael Lockwood. She was also left heartbroken when child abuse allegations came out against Michael Jackson when they were still very much married. Lisa Presley stood strong with Michael, only to divorce him later on.

His death left her “shattered.” Carrying Elvis Presley memories and talents was never enough for the artist to find peace and stability. She had a major cardiac arrest in 2023. She suffered cardiac arrest in her home in Calabasas, California, where she was resuscitated. 

However, the damage had been done, and the paramedics couldn’t save her life. Many suggest that her son’s suicide in 2020 was the last string that broke her heart beyond repair. Could she have died of a broken heart? Some fans believe so.

The pictures featured Lisa Marie Presley at six years of age. She was a loving little girl who had just lost some teeth! Interestingly, six years was also the age at which Lisa Presley met Michael Jackson at a concert she attended. Thompson, who is now 72 continued sharing in her captions.

 “She wanted me to take some pictures of her in my dressing area at the Monovale house.” She wrote. “We had such a wonderful relationship for so many years. She’s still a part of my heart.”

A lack of the child that Marie Presley used to be has hurt everyone. Perhaps, even Elvis Presley memories feel dark and draining without Lisa in this world. One can only mourn now.
