Jennifer Lopez has once again proven that she does everything better. She was caught dancing with her ex on Instagram Live in what most people thought was a fight to beat the quarantine boredom.

Raising Funds for Coronavirus Relief

JLo, as she’s fondly called, reunited with her ex, the rapper-turned-business-mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs on Sunday night in order to raise funds for hard-working healthcare workers in underserved communities amid the pandemic. The “Hustlers” star dated the business mogul from 1999 to 2001.

The reunion had their fans online reminiscing over one of the most powerful – and beloved – couples of all time. The celebrities laughed, danced, and even drank together, just like the good old days.

Diddy’s Announcement

Sean Combs announced just last week that he would be raising funds for the novel coronavirus relief on Instagram Live, informing his millions of fans, “Me and my family are having a dance-a-thon, the whole world is invited. We on lockdown, but we want to dance.”

And Jenny From the Block took him up on the dance-a-thon challenge.

The ex duo showed off impressive moves to “Suavemente,” Elvis Crespo’s hit meringue hit, with JLo joking, “I probably taught you that!” more than 100,000 viewers enjoyed the Instagram Live action.

And before tongues could start wagging and eyebrows rose in surprise about the surprise reunion, Alex Rodriguez, JLo’s fiancé, showed up on camera to share a drink with P. Diddy.

Rodriguez is Your Biggest Fan, says JLo

The Golden Globe nominee informed Diddy that Rodriguez, a former Yankee player, was one of the biggest fans of the rapper-turned-entrepreneur.

“Puffy, you have to know this because I don’t think you know this – this guy right here is your biggest fan,” JLo said. She added that Rodriguez was always the one who requests Mase and Diddy songs at every party.

Emotions Rubbed Off the Wrong Way

The trio seems to be in excellent terms now, but life is not without some bumps in the road.

JLo once broke the internet when she posted a picture of her well-known abs in January. This evoked a flirty response from the entrepreneur which appeared to rub off the wrong way with Rodriguez.

Diddy posted “OMG,” in the comments section right under the picture, just before Rodriguez dropped his: “Lucky Me.”

Diddy’s comment took over headlines all over the place, and he had to reach out to Rodriguez to dispel negative emotions.

Lopez revealed in an interview: “He wrote Alex after commenting. He was like, ‘I didn’t mean anything by it. I have nothing but respect for you guys. I’m so happy for you guys.’ We were together so many years ago. It’s just like…we were kids, you know?”

JLo also hinted that Rodriguez is the jealous type, adding that Rodriguez doesn’t play. “He’s a crazy Dominican,” says Lopez. “Do not disrespect that man.”

Sunday’s Livestream was all great fun and even turned out excellent well. Diddy opened up that he raised more than $3 million for the cause with DJ Khaled, Kelly Rowland, LeBron James, and Megan Thee Stallion also participating.
