Hayden Panettiere’s boyfriend, Brian Hickerson has been charged with a felony domestic violence offense by the LA County District Attorney’s Office. If Hickerson is been convicted for this offense, he will face a penalty of up to 4 years in prison. Hayden Panettiere, popular for her role as a cheerleader with superpowers in the NBC sci-fi series “Heroes” has gotten herself entangled with a violent man.
Hickerson was arrested earlier this month on suspicion of domestic violence. The petite American star and Brian Hickerson have been dating for about 9 months, but things have turned out ending in domestic violence. He was reported to have started the fight at their residence that night, the LAPD, however, got informed about the fight and took him in for domestic violence.
On the night of the incident, Hayden Panettiere and Brian Hickerson were out drinking around Hollywood. The physical altercation followed when they got back in their residence. The law enforcement, after getting a call arrived at the residence. They could see red marks all over Panettiere’s body. They interviewed both of them and they could deduce that Panettiere’s boyfriend of 9 months had started the fight. They immediately arrested him at 2:25 am for suspicion of felony domestic violence. Hickerson was released on a $50,000 bond the next day.
The 29-year-old actress was first spotted with Hickerson in August 2018 and they started dating fully when she split with her man of nine years. Hayden Panettiere and Wladimir Klitsch dated for 9 years before their splitting led her into the arms of Brian Hickerson. Before the union between Hayden Panettiere and Wladimir Klitsch dissolved, they had a lovely young girl, Keya who is now 4 years old.
Apparently, the case on the 2nd of May isn’t the first time Hickerson has gotten into a physical altercation. A physical altercation just like this once happened in November, involving Hickerson’s father. Hayden Panettiere knows that her boyfriend has a bad temper, but she felt she could manage him. She also knew that he could be controlling at times.
Despite being warned by family and friends, Panettiere felt it was right for her to stay considering that every relationship has one issue or the other. Meanwhile, the relationship seems solid despite the warning from all. Everyone around Panettiere knows this and they seemed very worried for her. Hickerson’s reputation as a party boy is undisputed all around Hollywood. Hayden Panettiere’s family may be glad at this point that there might be a break in the relationship since Hickerson has been a bad influence on their daughter.
During Hickerson’s arraignment on Thursday, the judge issued a protective order against him. He is barred from of coming within 100 yards of Panettiere, he can’t also be caught owning a firearm until they are able to resolve the issue.
While in court on Thursday, the prosecutor in charge told the court how Hayden Panettiere was mercilessly violated. He said Hickerson hit her on the face, causing her to fall into dizziness. He told the court that Hayden Panettiere got injured from the abuse. She sustained injuries on her neck area, ear, and arms. However, Bryan Hickerson pleaded not guilty of the charge.
Hickerson who is facing a felony domestic charge may serve up to 4 years in jail if convicted for this offense.
