Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3: New Trailer Goes Big At Super Bowl

The Chris Pratt-led Guardians of the Galaxy series is yet back again with a brand new installment in the series. James Gunn’s vision for the story will finally be over after the many hitches and hiccups that came his way. The new trailer is grand and makes it very obscure regarding who is exactly playing the villain and how our heroes are going to cope with the threat that they’re facing. The brand new addition to the new film is Will Poulter, who will be starring as Adam Warlock, a very powerful Marvel character straight out of the comics.

About The Film Guardians of the Galaxy

The film and creator James Gunn landed in the hot streams of controversy when old tweets by the director resurfaced. The tweets contained a lot of graphic themes, which were mostly meant to be humorous, but given Disney’s image, the tweets were not taken lightly.

“The offensive attitudes and statements discovered on James’ Twitter feed are indefensible and inconsistent with our studio’s values, and we have severed our business relationship with him,”

Said then chairman of Walt Disney Studios Aland F. Horn. Later on, Horn moved on and became a consultant for Warner Brothers. The CEO of Walt Disney, Robert Iger, was also a part of the unanimous decision to fire Gunn.

This, of course, stopped the steady progress of Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3. The film went back into production only when Gunn was rehired back, and the film’s production started in 2021 after the director was done with the filming of DC Studios’s The Suicide Squad. Now that all the controversy and the breaks are past the film, Marvel has released a brand new trailer that featured everywhere during the Super Bowl in Arizona. This will also be James Gunn’s last Marvel movie as the filmmaker takes over as co-head of DC Studios alongside Peter Safran. No official plot is out yet for the film, but fans are crazy excited as they often are.

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 is slated for release on May 5th this year, with other Marvel films such as Antman and The Wasp: Quantamania releasing on February 17 and The Marvels on July 28th. The film is heavily focused on the journey and life of one of the central characters, Rocket Raccoon. Rocket is a product of an experiment and is voice acted by none other than Bradley Cooper. The actor who plays Rocket for the camera, however, is Sean Gunn. So far, there is no official plot for the film, but we surely see a lot of action in the trailer itself.
