Funny Celebrity Interviews to Brighten Your Day

Published

on

Life can be hard sometimes; we have bosses breathing down our necks, no time for socializing, and chocolate is normally more attractive than going to the gym. If you’re having a rough day, we have some hilarious celebrity interviews to cheer you up.

If you have a friend who needs a smile, why not send it to them too?

1. Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling – Alison Hammond

Working on This Morning in the UK, Alison Hammond has a natural ability to have a joke with celebrities so this is always a great place to start for a smile. In this particular interview, the dynamic between the three is fantastic. All three look to be relaxed and we reckon you’ll be smiling within seconds as tears fill Ryan’s eyes.

2. Russell Brand – Anyone

Whether it’s press junkets for a new film or an interview, Russell Brand has a way of bringing the best out of each interviewer. With his quick wit and a wide vocabulary, Brand lights up the screen on both sides of the Atlantic. After a quick search online, you’ll find interviews with Jimmy Fallon, Ellen, and more.

3. Selena Gomez – George Lopez

We’re going back a few years now, and Selena looks very young, but this interview is funny for a different reason; Selena is forced into using a computer to talk after losing her voice the previous day. Let’s be honest, nobody would have blamed Selena for not turning up, but she does, and it’s comedy gold.

4. Bruce Willis – Stephen Colbert

Over the years, Bruce Willis has had some interesting encounters with TV show hosts and other interviewers. Cutting an intimidating figure at times, we wouldn’t be surprised if even the most experienced hosts were nervous before welcoming the Die Hard legend. However, Colbert and Willis do a scripted bit about the latter still doing his own stunts at 60…and we couldn’t stop laughing.

5. Robin Williams – Koko the Gorilla

Ok, we’re cheating a little here. This isn’t an interview, but it follows the theme of brightening your day so we couldn’t leave it out. Although an old video, the inimitable Robin Williams sat down with Koko the Gorilla thanks to the Gorilla Foundation and the results are astounding.

6. Will Smith on Graham Norton

Finally, how could we do a list of funny interviews without mentioning Graham Norton? Popular for many years in the UK, Graham Norton is quickly becoming an admired figure here in the US too. He boasts a superb interview technique and allows the guests a platform to shine…together. It’s rare that celebrities sit on the same sofa during a late-night show, but The Graham Norton Show is the standard against which all similar shows should be measured. The guests share stories, share laughs, and even end up asking each other questions.

Will Smith has been on the show plenty of times and seems to love his visits. Whether he’s playing the Fresh Prince theme tune, dancing with his son and Alfonso Ribeiro, or just engaging with other guests, it’s always a pleasure to watch!
