The first teaser for Disney-Pixar’s new movie Elemental is out and it demonstrates a gorgeous new world colonized by different elements.

Pixar is back along with Disney, with the teaser trailer of its forthcoming feature film Elemental which releases in India on 16th June 2023. The movie takes place in the fictitious Elemental City, “where fire, water, land, and air residents live together”. This original feature film is piloted by Peter Sohn.

The teaser trailer presents its main characters Ember (Leah Lewis), “a harsh, quick-witted and vibrant young woman,” who hits up a friendship with “a fun, sentimental, go-with-the-flow guy” made of water named Wade (Mamoudou Athie), as the summary reads.

The minute-long teaser takes place predominantly in a subway of Elemental City where various element-based residents travel together. There are water beings, land parents holding their children in little pots, and air people who can easily find space in the ceiling of the subway.

As the passionate, hoodie-clad Ember’s headphones get knocked off, she goes down to pick them up, just as another hand comes out. The water hand belongs to Wade, and Ember instantly shrinks a little when a small drop of water falls on her. Wade apologizes instantly and then Ember takes off the hoodie from her face to expose herself. As they being to introduce themselves, an unusual friendship is about to begin.

How this flamboyant friendship between these two ‘elementally’ additional characters “challenge her assumptions about the world they live in,” is what Elemental haggles with. Elemental marks Pixar’s solo release celebrated for 2023. Elemental comes after an extremely busy year with the releases of Turning Red and Lightyear.

Elemental is all ready to release in theatres on 16th June 2023.

Formerly, Disney-Pixar’s partnership has resulted in his hits like Cars, Toy Story, Inside Out, Up, Turning Red, Coco, and Soul. Their latest release was the Toy Story spinoff Lightyear, starring Chris Evans as the mouthpiece of Buzz Lightyear.
