Ed Sheeran comes out with explosive news about his marriage status

For many years, one of the few things which we have probably wondered about Ed Sheeran is whether he was married or not. Why the singer has left us feeling hopelessly romantic and filled with love for most of his songs and it was pretty frustrating that we had no idea about this part of his life. However, Ed Sheeran has finally left us in no doubt concerning his marital status. Yes, our beloved Ed Sheeran is married!

Married to his sweetheart

For most of us, getting married to our childhood friend is one of the dreams which we might never have. However, for Ed Sheeran, that dream is real and kicking. Ed Sheeran got married to one of his childhood sweetheart Cherry Seaborn who has known his whole life. How sweet is that! 

We know this through his new song remember me which he sang with other singers Eminem and 50 cents. In this song, he makes it clear to all listening that his wife is Cherry Seaborn. The interesting thing about this song is that Ed actually wrote it before he even got married to Cherry. His reason for this is that he felt that before the song made production, he would already be married to Cherry and boy was he right.

Engagement

The first hints of marriage came back in January of 2018 when Ed proposed to Cherry. While they had known each other forever, marriage and dating didn’t spring up in their friendship until 2015 when Ed took the time to invite Cherry to the Fourth of July by Taylor Swift. This is according to what Ed told the People Magazine during an interview.

After getting engaged, Ed didn’t wait long before he actually got married. The marriage was held in private was would be expected and it took place over the holidays in Suffolk. However, while the initial marriage was low and private, or is expected that Ed and his new wife are set to hold even bigger celebration by the time summer comes along. 

While Ed and his new wife Cherry will no doubt be settling down into their life as a married side, they are not the only ones to be getting down into the marriage lane recently. Heidi Klum and Kaulitz Tom recently announced that they were getting married and things surely seem to be looking up for this great couple. It promises to be a great year for them.

So what do we think?

If there is one person who deserves to find love and get married to their childhood sweetheart, it surely would have to be Ed Sheeran. While we are eagerly awaiting their celebration which would commence in the latter parts of this year, we wish them a happy married life and perhaps even children in the future. Of course, we would also want every one of us to find sweet love just as Ed seems to have found with Cherry.
