Donald Trump Thinks the Queen is Fantastic – The Buckingham Palace Visit

Trump has gone on to praise the Queen as well as the Royal family whom he stayed the entire afternoon with. His visit to the state is a historic one and this took place on day one. 

Donald Trump, the social media famous president of the United States took to Twitter to speak about how well his London trip has gone so far. He hailed the Queen together with all of the royal family as being fantastic. He also spoke about how strong a relationship there was between the United States and the UK. 

Trump also gave a hint about trade talks where he spoke about the need for Britain to get rid of the shackles put on them by the EU. 

The tweets from the US president were made one hour prior to their arrival at the Buckingham Palace. It was here that Her Majesty played host to them at the State Banquet in the evening. There were other royals in attendance such as the likes of Prince William together with the highly esteemed Duchess of Cambridge.

Earlier, he was given the 82-gun salute as he arrived at the Buckingham Palace where a meeting with the Queen had been planned. As the helicopter which transported him to the palace touched down on the lawn in the afternoon, full pomp greetings and a ceremonial atmosphere greeted President Trump together with his family. 

Donald Trump and family were met by a military escort as they arrived at the palace lawn. In order to honor the president, the soldiers went ahead to fire off 282 rounds. 41 rounds were meant for Mr. Trump while the coronation anniversary of Her Majesty was marked with a further 41 rounds.

President Trump together with his wife Melania was treated to lunch by the queen. They were then taken on a tour to see the splendor of the Buckingham Palace in its entirety in the afternoon. Mr. Trump was also greeted by Prince Charles together with his wife Camilla just a little past midday. The First Couple was then escorted to meet Her Majesty who waited for them just across the palace garden’s lawn. 

After meeting the Queen, the American President together with his wife were treated to an intimate lunch which was organized at the Buckingham Palace. Later, Trump began to engage with the senior royals.

Donald Trump and wife had their daughter, Iyanka, watching them from the balcony of the palace. She happens to be a very important adviser at the white house and was at the palace together with Jared Kushner who happens to be her husband. 

There are American artifacts that are currently kept and have been commissioned in the Royal inventory. Her Majesty eventually took the president and wife after lunch to see the exhibition. The Independence Declaration, George Washington’s Portrait, together with some other items were some of the exhibits examined.
