Demi Moore Memoir: What Did She Say About Ashton Kutcher, Bruce Willis, and Jon Cryer?

If you haven’t seen already, Demi Moore is doing the rounds on chat shows and online interviews as she releases her new book ‘Inside Out’. As somebody with an extensive acting career and a number of celebrity partners, it certainly makes for an interesting read and we’re going to break down some of the things she has said today!

On…Falling from Stardom

After three failed marriages, it seems Moore felt ‘completely alone’ just before her 50th birthday. At the time, her marriage to Ashton Kutcher had just crumbled, she wasn’t speaking to her children, and she even lost so much weight that she fell to just 45kg.

She said, ‘I looked like I felt…destroyed’. After becoming the highest-paid actress in Hollywood back in the 1990s, it was a huge fall from grace and it’s clear Moore struggled to overcome the difficult period.

On…Bruce Willis

Of course, one of Moore’s most high-profile marriages was to fellow movie star Bruce Willis. She noted how Willis was highly attentive in the early days and would treat the pair to luxurious vacations on private jets. However, despite the ‘whirlwind, truncated infatuation’, the relationship quickly changed as they welcomed a child. Soon enough, she wasn’t sure whether ‘we really knew each other’.

When the pair impulsively decided to wed, Moore was already at the end of a five-year marriage to Freddie Moore. To keep their children from the spotlight, the pair decided to buy a ranch in Idaho. Unfortunately, both had difficult childhoods. While Willis overcame a stutter, Moore had alcoholic parents and a mum who once took $500 to allow a man to sexually abuse her (at just 15).

Eventually, busy schedules and other problems tore the two apart and they would go on to separate after 13 years and three children.

On…Ashton Kutcher

There are some kind words about Willis, but this didn’t seem to extend to Kutcher. Married for eight years, she has spoken out about the actor and how he shared an underwear picture on social media along with other drunken photographs. Moore believes that Kutcher was ‘shaming’ her, especially with the drunken pictures while she was battling alcoholism herself.

In response, Kutcher has already said that fans can ‘text him’ for the truth about events and posted a number on Twitter. What’s more, he tweeted the following;

‘I was about to push the button on a really snarky tweet. Then I saw my son, daughter, and wife and I deleted it.’

On…Jon Cryer

Finally, another star to refute or at least challenge what has been said in Moore’s memoirs is another Two and a Half Men actor; Jon Cryer. While Moore states that she took his virginity, Cryer quickly hit back and said it actually happened while he was in high school. He also joked that she was ‘justified making that assumption based on my skill level’. The two appeared together in No Small Affair.

These are just some of the insights in the book, and it will be interesting to see if there’s backlash from anybody else as a result of the stories inside!
