Cristiano Ronaldo Gets Gifted Brand New $780,000 Watch

Portuguese soccer icon Cristiano Ronaldo has been in the headlines for several reasons lately. Recently the news of Ronaldo joining Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr FC surfaced. Reportedly the star received a staggering offer of 200 million Euros per year to be a part of the team. 

Later on, it was also announced that Saudi Arabia would be giving an exemption to Ronaldo to let him live with his partner Georgina Rodriguez in a temporary place before they find a permanent home. Otherwise, Saudi has a law that disallows couples to live together if they’re unmarried. And now, luxury watch brand Jacob and Co., has partnered up with Ronaldo to seemingly promote their brand new watch.

Soon after the signing of Ronaldo by Al Nassr, Ronaldo posted a picture on his social media handle with his private jet, all set to fly him to his new home team in Saudi Arabia.

Ronaldo was spotted wearing a stunning bright green wristwatch from Jacob and Co. The company has worked with Ronaldo for over a decade and a half. He was given this new watch which is priced at $780,000, which is something only those in Ronaldo’s league could afford. 

The watch is made out of gold and 388 baguette-cut tsavorites, stones that are a lot rare than even emeralds. The color of the watch is a deep bright green to represent the flag of Saudi Arabia that Ronaldo has become a part of.

Jacob and Co., have made watches for Ronaldo for a long time. They created a unique timepiece for him following his win against Manchester United in 2013. They also created a Bugatti Chiron-themed watch for him. The two are as inseparable as Ronaldo and soccer itself. In the coming years, we’re likely to see more magnificent timepieces on Ronaldo’s wrist created by the maker.
