As the novel COVID-19 – known as coronavirus – continues to spread around the world, many celebrities have tested positive for the deadly virus.

Many of these famous actors, actresses, and public figures, have shared this news on social media. And a few of them have even willingly volunteered to share regular updates about their health or symptoms as world leaders scramble for a cure.

Here’s a summary list of your beloved celebs that have tested positive to the coronavirus:

Actors

Olga Kurylenko

She is the tough Bond girl who starred in Daniel Craig’s James Bond “Quantum of Solace” in 2008. Olga,40, revealed the condition of her health on Instagram, saying she has the coronavirus.

She also stated that she had been ill with fever and fatigued. She is presently quarantined and recovering at home.

Idris Elba

Fans were shocked when the 47-year-old British actor announced last Monday that he tested positive for coronavirus. He showed no symptoms of the disease in any way.

But since then, Idris Elba has been updating his fans around the world, letting them know that he “feels okay” while urging his fans to take good care of themselves.

Tom Hanks

He is one of America’s most well-known actors and was in Australia to shoot a movie when he tested positive for the novel virus.

Since then, the 63-year-old Academy Award winner has regularly updated his fans about his health condition. He has assured his beloved fans that he is under excellent care, urging them to be proactive and diligent.

Kristofer Hivju

This 41-year-old actor is well known for playing Tormund in the HBO hit TV show “Game of Thrones.” Kristofer informed the world about the state of his health and diagnosis of COVID-19.

In a post on Instagram, he stated that he is in good health and urged his fans to always “be careful, wash your hands.” And maintain an appropriate distance between themselves and others.

Rita Wilson

She is a singer and actress, but better known as the wife of the Oscar-winning actor, Tom Hanks. The 63-year-old actress tested positive to the coronavirus. She had visited Australia’s Nine Network for a talk show “Today Extra” along with hosts Belinda Russell and David Campbell on Monday.

The diagnosis of both Tom Hanks and his wife forced the channel to enact a “crisis response plan.” Rita Wilson appears to be looking good while in quarantine.

Public Figures Who Tested Positive to the Coronavirus

Sophie Gregoire Trudeau

She is the wife of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada, and she tested positive for the coronavirus.

The prime minister’s office has since released a statement about the status of her health. She is taking every recommended precaution, and her symptoms are relatively mild.

Both she and her husband – i.e. the Prime Minister of Canada – have been in isolation since March 13th.

Prince Albert II of Monaco

Prince Albert II of Monaco has also tested positive for coronavirus, a spokesman for the city-state’s palace informed CNN on Thursday.

The ruler’s health, however, is “not worrying at all,” according to the statement issued by the palace. The prince, who is also Monaco’s head of state, was tested for COVID-19 earlier in the week.
