So far, 2020 seems to have been filled with worrying headlines, problems around the world, and overall negativity. Therefore, it was great to see celebrities enjoying themselves and celebrating Father’s Day with loved ones.
On the other side of the pond, the Royal Family even broke protocol and released some relaxed photographs. Firstly, we saw Prince William taking in the great outdoors with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. According to the family, the shots were taken by the Duchess of Cambridge earlier in June. Meanwhile, Clarence House also released a happy shot with Prince Charles smiling in the arms of his son, the Duke of Cambridge.
Elsewhere, Michelle Obama posted on Instagram about her long-time partner and former president, Barack. In the post, she said ‘thank you for the way you love our girls – and all the young people in this country’. In a similarly cute post, Jessica Biel took to Instagram to gush about Justin Timberlake.
For John Legend, he appeared in the ABC special ‘John Legend and Family: A Bigger Love Father’s Day’. Welcomed by fans of the star, Legend appeared alongside his wife, Chrissy Teigen, and their two children, Miles and Luna. In a special moment, Legend expanded the family and brought his father in for a celebration. Other celebrities to appear in the show include Andy Roddick, Marlon Wayans, Tony Gonzalez, Shaq, Snoop Dogg, and Stevie Wonder.
Of course, no article about celebrity families would be complete without mentioning Kim and Kanye. On Sunday, she also chose Instagram to post a loving picture of her husband and their four children. Additionally, there was a second picture of Kanye, his father, and his sons. Just recently, Kim Kardashian opened up about Kanye and how being a father has changed her husband.
In an interview back in November, she noted how his approach has changed as the children have grown older. For example, he has removed the makeup from North’s bedroom while also removing all TVs from the bedrooms. The older that they get, it seems Dad Kanye wants to control the imagery around the home more closely than ever before.
Moving across to another reality star, it seems to be exciting times ahead for Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev. Although Artem isn’t yet a father, Nikki is expecting their first child. On June 11, they actually decided to air the gender reveal celebration on their E! show. On social media, Bella said ‘you truly will be his role model and hero.’
Of course, Artem isn’t the only celebrity just weeks away from becoming a father. In April, it was revealed that Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik were pregnant. Other soon-to-be dads include Russell Wilson, Joe Jonas, Orlando Bloom, Quentin Tarantino, and Chris Pratt. While some are expecting their first child, others will be growing their family. Either way, we may just be writing about them in one year’s time!
