Ariana Grande opens up about coping with grief following the death of Mac Miller

Ariana Grande has finally broken the silence as regards how she has struggled following the death of her ex Mac Miller. Ariana who is no doubt enjoying new fame and status following her back to back hits and wonderful vocal strengths revealed that she abused alcohol following the death of Mac Miller. 

Irrespective of her rise during the past year, Ariana Grande is popularly known for her single Thank U, Next, have had a very difficult few years. First was the Manchester terror attack which ruined her show,  then followed by the death of her ex Malcolm McCormick. When it seemed that it could not get any worse, she had to also endure a split from her fiancée, Pete Davidson. 

Interview with Vogue Magazine

Ariana Grande was interviewed as the cover star of Vogue for August. She honestly revealed that she was hit with immense consuming grief after she received the news that her boyfriend for two years died out of a drug overdose. She remarked earlier that her boyfriend was the best person she had ever known.  She turned to music and she admitted to recording her latest album with heartache and pain in the midst of all this drama. She claimed that she doesn’t remember those months of her life probably due to the fact that it is a period of time she would hope to forget in a hurry.  

Drunk and so Sad

As the interview continued, she revealed details on how she coped with all those trying times. She mentioned the fact that she was always so drunk and so sad at the same time. This made it harder for her to remember how things were exactly for her but no doubt music gave her the much-needed comfort and as she further mentioned, she had no idea that she had 10 songs already which came at those trying times in her life.  It was after she rose in status during this period following the success of her first album did she discover that she had a life now and the world was watching how she acts and what she does.  Ariana Grande further stressed that her hit song Thank U, Next was a song which helped her to realize that she had to watch out for herself. It helped her to see that she had to let go of distractions and face her life now.  She is now in a point of self-discovery and she claimed that recording this song helped her heal and face her life henceforth. 

She has shown her strength though, following her split with her fiancée Pete Davidson.  She boldly twitted that she had no tears left to cry which is based on another of her hit track as well.

She has been very frequent on social media and has a huge fan base on various social media platforms including Instagram. 

After the Manchester bombing which took place at her concert claiming the life of 23 people,  she wrote how sad she felt and that words could not explain the pain in her heart.  

Ariana Grande appears on the Vogue for August with her Chihuahua pet dog and a beautiful black dress.  Inside the magazine, she is shot posing in her recording studio with her mom and grandmother.
