Marvel’s new film in its planned Phase 5 is all set to be released on 17th February to blow the minds of everyone. The plot can be tied back to the ending of the Disney+ Marvel series Loki which focused on Loki’s adventures when he teleported through different timelines after getting his hands on the Tesseract.
In the show, Loki and his alternate version, Sylvie, go up against He Who Remains, who has many different names, but the one that’s most familiar is Kang The Conquerer. He Who Remains is portrayed as forgiving and kind to the universe, but he warns the Lokis that his other Variants may not be so kind. Well, looks like his evil version has arrived in full force.
Screening In LA
The film was recently screened in LA after its world premiere at Regency Westwood Theater on Monday, and fans and critics are equally impressed with Marvel’s new work. Many of them took to Twitter to express their love and appreciation for the film:
ANT-MAN AND THE WASP QUANTUMANIA is a VISUAL FEAST packed w/ SURPRISES (big & small). A WILD RIDE from start to finish.
Jonathan Majors CONQUERS as Kang, the Dynasty is here. Paul Rudd is as lovable as ever & 2 Post Credit scenes! Said film critic Ashley Saunders in a tweet.
The film stars actors from the previous two films which include Paul Rudd, who is famous for a host of films and TV shows, most prominently for, Anchorman, I Love You, Man, and, The 40-Year-Old Virgin. He has also starred in Netflix shows like Living With Yourself and the film The Fundamentals Of Caring, adapted from a book titled The Revised Fundamentals Of Caregiving. With Paul, we see Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, and Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne.
Other than them, the most talked about a new entry in the film is going to be Jonathan Majors, who plays the role of Kang The Conquerer. Majors has gotten into phenomenal shape for the role and has received lots of praise for his acting as the supervillain who we’re likely to see more of in the coming Marvel films.
#AntManandtheWaspQuantumania starts Phase 5 with a bang, playing like a Star Wars-esque epic space opera. Jonathan Majors is truly haunting as #Kang, on course to be a scarier threat than Thanos, and has all the makings of an iconic cinematic villain.
Tweeted Marvel news hub aptly called Marvel Tesseract on Twitter. Majors has been a hot topic of discussion which means he has really nailed his role as the not-so-nice Kang.
Jonathan Majors is a force in #AntManAndTheWaspQuantumania. He’s compelling, chilling, and already giving a top-notch performance. I love the complexity he brings to Kang with literally a single look. MCU really won with this casting
Tweeted marvel fan Nora Dominick praising Majors’ performance in the role.
