Nicole
Mary Kidman made an impressive, angelic appearance at the
31st Annual Producers Guild Awards Saturday night at the Hollywood
Palladium.
The age-defying 52-year-old
actress flaunted her curves and good looks as she walked the red carpet,
wearing a two-piece, off-the-shoulder silk dress worth an astonishing AUD
6,300.
Nicole highlighted her
gym-perfected physique in the unconventional white designer creation from J.
Mendel’s 2020 collection (Pre-Fall). The Australian-American producer and
actress styled the designer’s silk top with a quirky bow detail across the
front and bouffant sleeves with high-rise pleated silk pants.
Nicole accessorized the
stunning runway look with equally stunning green earrings and a pair of black
heels.
Her makeup wasn’t quite
heavy: in fact, her makeup for the occasion was a subtle palette. Her hairdo
was made in a half updo which highlighted her unflawed visage while being
careful not to distract attention from her sensational outfit.
About Her Marriage to Keith
Urban
Speaking to a tabloid early
last week, the actress opened up briefly about her 14-year marriage to Keith
Urban, the country superstar.
She stated that Keith, 52,
gives her a satisfying sense of protection or of feeling protected – in her own
words – and that she had mostly lived her life “scared” until she had the
opportunity to meet him.
“What makes me feel most
secure and comfortable is being with Keith. By having a partner by your side,
someone with whom you can share your feelings or emotions and talk. Someone who
you love and who loves you in return balances everything,” the movie star was
caught saying.
“But before I met him, I was
much more scared. Now, I feel very protected, thanks to this wonderful friend
and great partner I have.”
Nicole is still blowing hot
on the awards circuit, following her new film “Bombshell” which centers
primarily on sexual harassment claims at FOX News.
Best of Times for Nicole
Over the past few years, Nicole
has delivered a stellar performance in the acclaimed TV series “Big Little
Lies.” This highly-praised role earned her a Golden Globe and an Emmy for Best
Lead Actress. She has even backed these awards up with another incredible
Golden Globe nomination for the second series.
The film “Bombshell” brought
our Nicole back into the spotlight where she portrayed the character Gretchen
Carlson, the news anchor who contributed immensely to the downfall of Roger
Ailes, Fox News boss after she filed a lawsuit against him for sexual
harassment.
Nicole was quoted as saying,
“For me, it is about the abuse and misuse of power and how these women
were able to stand up, speak out and actually instigate the process of change.
“Even though these are
highly complicated issues we are dealing with, I think the film presents the
story in an entertaining way. It is told from a female perspective.”
The film “Bombshell”
is directed by Jay Roach and features co-stars Charlize Theron and Margot
Robbie.
