A-Rod Offers Extravagant Birthday Gift for J-Lo

What do you get somebody who has the money to buy anything they want in life? This was the dilemma for Alex Rodriguez recently as his partner, Jennifer Lopez, celebrated her 50th birthday. The former Yankee and baseball legend decided to treat his girlfriend to a brand-new Porsche 911 GTS convertible (wow!). 

According to inside sources who spoke to E! News, the car was delivered to their house and was presented with a huge gold bow. What’s more, the license plate reads ‘JLO’. Later in the day, the pair were pictured riding around the streets near their home and we’re almost certain the car was turning heads. Even without the customizations, this particular model starts at around $140,000 (quite some birthday gift!). 

Birthday Celebrations

For J-Lo, she has been enjoying a huge birthday celebration tour and is clearly still capable of getting tens of thousands of people into an arena for a show. As well as success in her career, she also seems to be happy with A-Rod and it’s brought together two different worlds; both music and baseball fans alike seem to be happy for the couple. 

In a post on Jennifer’s birthday, Alex posted an adorable video; he called her ‘the best partner in life’. Of course, this isn’t the first time the pair have gushed over each other on social media. After announcing their engagement back in March, Jennifer took to Instagram to say, ‘You make my world a more beautiful safe and stable place’. 

A Happily Ever After? 

Over the years, J-Lo has been unlucky in love and her marriage to A-Rod will be her fourth. From 1997 to 1998, she was married to Ojani Noa before splitting and marrying Cris Judd in the early 2000s. Her longest-lasting relationship came with Marc Anthony and the pair were married for seven years. However, it wasn’t to be, and the pair broke it off back in 2011. 

For Alex, who retired from baseball in 2016 after a successful career (to say the least!), he first married in 2002. Together with Cynthia Scurtis for around six years, they had two children before it all came to an end. 

For Alex and Jennifer, they started dating in 2017 but it was kept quiet for a long time. Eventually, all was revealed on The View and the world started to go crazy with J-Rod and other nicknames for the couple. 

In an interview with Vanity Fair shortly after, Lopez said that they understood each other in ways that other people simply couldn’t. Since then, it seems their relationship has grown from strength to strength and now everybody is talking about their upcoming wedding.
