Gene Simmons is a legendary musician from the rock band known as Kiss. Mainly being the bassist of the band, the musician also lent his vocals as a co-lead singer. Recently, Gene’s daughter Sophie got married to the love of her life, James Henderson. Sophie has taken her talent and aspirations from her rockstar father and has found herself an audience as a singer-songwriter as well. Simmons has had a long career now, having released singles like Black Mirror, Kiss Me, and Burn Me down. She was also the writer and vocalist of the song Home released by DJ Yellow Claw. 

About Simmons and Her Marriage

Simmons is also a very vehement advocate of body positivity. She found herself a place in a 2016 documentary called Straight/Curve. She became a model and released a clothing line to promote body positivity for The Style Club. The artist is also very vocal about child advocacy. She opened up a child advocacy center called Sophie’s Place with the help of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Mayor of Surrey. 

She got married to the man she has loved for ages, James Henderson. The couple became official in a courthouse ceremony in Los Angeles on 17th February. The two later enjoyed a beautiful private marriage in the backyard of Sophie’s parents. Kiss superstar Gene and his wife Shannon expressed pride and joy towards the marriage in a statement with the People magazine:

 “We couldn’t be prouder of our daughter. James is a solid young man, and Sophie can do anything she puts her mind to. We wish them a lifetime of love and happiness. If they are even half as happy as we are, they will last long.”

They tied the knot in front of 50 people, which included friends and family members.

Jennifer Lopez is an iconic Hollywood star who became a household name back at the end of the 90s and early 2000s. She started off as a dancer as a Fly Girl in the famous TV series In Living Colour until she decided to pursue her acting career. In 2003, at the height of her career, she came across Ben Affleck on the set of the movie Gigli. And the rest was history. 

The two became one of the most iconic couples in Hollywood and are still talked about today. In 2004, the iconic couple called it off, but recently, it seems like the two have come back together. Jennifer Lopez shared a video celebrating the birthday of her twins, Max and Emme. The video features, you guessed it—Ben Affleck.

Present And History

Both Emme and Max turned 15 recently. The artist shares the twins with her ex-husband Marc Anthony. She wished the kids were on her social media and posted a beautiful video of them with the family, and it also included her now husband, Ben Affleck. Here’s what she wrote:

“I am so proud of you both in every single way. You bring so much joy and happiness to my heart and soul. I love you beyond forever ??♾️♾️ HAPPY BIRTHDAY ?? #Twins.”

The children are an integral part of the relationship between the two of them. In fact, before Ben proposed to Lopez, he was seen browsing engagement rings with his son. It was inevitable for him to eventually propose to her so they could get married all over again. In 2022, after their engagement, the two got married once again in Las Vegas.

But what went wrong before? The reason they called off their first wedding back in 2004 was because of overly exhausting media attention. This was meant to be a great moment for the couple, but they had to go as far as considering getting fake decoy brides to drive the media away from the actual venue.

With so much attention and eyes on them, they felt pressured, and they had no privacy. They still tried postponing their wedding in 2003. Here’s their joint statement from then:

Due to the excessive media attention surrounding our wedding, we have decided to postpone the date. When we seriously contemplated hiring three separate ‘decoy brides’ at three different locations, we realized something was awry. We began to feel that the spirit of what should have been the happiest day of our lives could be compromised. We felt what should have been a joyful and sacred day could be spoiled for us, our families, and our friends.

Unfortunately, the postponement didn’t do the job, and the two celebrities moved on. Affleck married Jennifer Garner, and Lopez married Marc Anthony. However, now the two are together. In fact, their children, Emme, Max, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, gave them away at the nuptials back in Las Vegas in 2022. 

In the birthday video, Affleck held baby Max in his arms as he fell asleep. After years of being away, the two have finally reunited. Hopefully, this time around, it is for the long run. Jennifer Lopez commented about Affleck as a father:

“Seen (a) more consistent, loving and selfless father.” She said as she shared a tribute on Father’s day. “And it’s not just to your own kids but also without obligation to mine. You show up and put them first always. You are affectionate and engaged in every moment they are with you and it’s honestly one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.”

Priyanka Chopra is a Bollywood star known very well for working in a plethora of famous films in India, including Barfi, Bajirao Mastani, and many others. However, Hollywood watchers may recognize her from the hit TV show Quantico and the recent Baywatch starring her alongside Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron. Priyanka got married to singer-songwriter Nick Jonas back in 2018. Nick is one of the three Jonas brothers. They had a beautiful baby daughter recently in the year 2022. Her face and identity had been kept a secret from the prying eyes of the media and the public. However, at one of Nick’s events recently, Malti was brought out in public for the first time.

Chopra Hinting About Plans For A Baby

The couple was not entirely very open about their plans to conceive a child early on. However, Priyanka would drop hints and clues every once in a while, trying to mislead the media. At one point during a Jonas Brothers Roast event, she said:

“We are the only couple who doesn’t have kids yet, which is why I’m excited to make this announcement … Sorry, babe,” she said. “Nick and I are expecting … to get drunk tonight and sleep in tomorrow!”

Of course, the clever jab could be seen as it was, but more details lay between the lines. Soon in 2022, they welcomed the baby in the month of January.

Malti’s Birth

Malti was delivered through a surrogate and initially kept in the ICU for around 100 days before finally coming home in good shape. The child was born prematurely and was severely underweight. Thankfully, she was able to recover and become a healthy child.

Malti was recently brought out in front of a lot of paparazzi for the very first time. To celebrate the brother’s star reception on the walk of fame, the whole Jonas family had gathered. Malti was the star of the show as her face was revealed for the first time. Usually, Priyanka and Nick would place a little heart emoji on her face in every picture. This is the reason her appearance this time was so special.
