5 Exciting Celebrity Weddings Coming Up in the Near Future

Earlier this month, we wrote about the celebrity babies that were on their way in 2019. Today, let’s celebrate those who have fallen in love and will tie the knot soon. With break-ups and failed marriages filling the news, it’s time for some positivity as we wish these couples the happily-ever-after they deserve! 

Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost 

Back in March 2017, rumors started to swirl about Jost and Johansson as the latter made an appearance on SNL. Just a few months later, the relationship was confirmed and Jost proposed in May this year. Though we don’t know exactly when the wedding will be, the hashtag of #JostMarried is a certainty, right? 

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin

We know what you’re shouting at your screens right now, ‘they’re already married!’. This is true, but sources close to the couple suggest that a more traditional ceremony may be around the corner. Back in September, they were seen entering a marriage license courthouse and the two were officially bound by law. 

Originally, a date was set for February, but this was later cancelled when Bieber’s family couldn’t attend the date. Now, it’s expected to happen later this year. 

A-Rod and J-Lo 

A match made in heaven, right? Both have similar nicknames, and they announced their engagement back in March. Just this week, Jennifer Lopez spoke about her previous marriages and upcoming wedding in an interview. Although married three times, she jokingly says that two don’t count since they were both under 12 months. 

This time around, she wants to get married in a church…and we can’t wait to see all the extravagant pictures from the day itself. 

Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry

After starting their relationship in 2016 and calling it off again in 2017, the world thought that was the end of this particular relationship. However, they battled on and announced their engagement earlier this year (hooray, another victory for love!); also, yet another couple breaking down the barrier of the Atlantic Ocean. 

Last week, Perry said the couple were taking wedding planning slowly since neither party is in a rush. But ‘slow’ in the celebrity world is normally quick compared to normal so could we expect a wedding within the next 12 months? We’ll have to wait and see (we’re excited nonetheless!). 

Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney

For those who can’t deal with the uncertainty and need a celebrity wedding soon, keep your eyes on Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney. When the engagement was announced in February, the internet went crazy and the details are still vague (it seems the couple are being sneaky and quiet with their relationship!). Regardless of how the engagement occurred, it did happen, and the wedding is expected this summer.
